Puy Jaillant Family Farm Our Story

Puy Jaillant is a small, family-run lavender farm cultivated and maintained mainly by horsepower. In addition to lavender, we grow other medicinal plants, such as ginger, turmeric and coriander and transform them into beautiful and beneficial products which we sell at local markets and in our shop.

We also offer our unique space as a venue for bespoke events, retreats and workshops-

We aim to manage the land in a natural and sustainable way, promote the working horse and offer a fun and light-hearted escape at our little farm.

At the core of our philosophy is promoting mental and physical well-being through medicinal plants and through our connection with animals.

Although traditionally lavender is the symbol of Provence, we wanted to work with medicinal plants and Lavender called to us due to its many uses and well-known healing properties.

After years of monitoring our test patch, training the horses to work the land, finding and modifying horse-drawn machinery we are now open to the public during the Summer months. We offer a variety of workshops (see here) and you can visit our lavender field cafe/shop where you can purchase our nourishing oils, teas, syrups and delicious ice creams !
